Overview

This course positions curriculum planning and design are essential ingredients in the curriculum development process. Reflecting on the key elements of curriculum design, participants are also require to analyze curriculum designs found in schools and educational systems using the lenses of curriculum and learning theorists. Amongst others, the concept of constructive alignment, the process of aligning learning intentions with the curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment processes and resources to support learning will be critically considered as part of the design process.

  • Effective curriculum aligns goals, assessments and instructional activities
